The Season 6 finale of "The Good Wife" was filled with lots of emotion as fans said goodbye to Archie Panjabi's character, Kalinda, while Alicia was presented with the opportunity to start a new law firm.

During the finale, which was titled "Wanna Partner?" Alicia and her former friend and confidant, Kalinda, met at a bar and shared two shots of tequila right before Kalinda told her that she was leaving. The old friends shared a simple and sincere exchange which marked the first time that the private investigator and Alicia appeared in the same scene in two years, following their fallout after Alicia found out that Kalinda had slept with her husband, Peter, notes TVLine.

However, new revelations revealed that the two actresses actually did not film their final scene of the show together in the same room, reports Carter Matt.

Meanwhile, Carrie Preston recently suggested that she will reprise her role as Elsbeth Tascioni in Season 7. The main reason she has not frequently appeared on the show is due to her acting obligations on "True Blood." She will also star on the new NBC series "Crowded."

However, at the NBC Upfronts, she told E! News that she has every intention to come back on "The Good Wife" at some point. Therefore, it will just be up to the writers to include Elsbeth in their scripts every now and then.

When asked whether or not she would return to the NBC political drama, Preston responded: "I mean, I wish. That's all I can say."

In an interview with HuffPost Live, series costar Matt Czuchry teased that Kalinda's exit will leave a lasting impact throughout Season 7, since she left without giving her former colleagues and boyfriend closure.

"Cary and Kalinda have had a strong friendship over 100-plus episodes, so that lack of closure is going to come into play in season 7," said Czuchry, who plays Cary on the show. "It would be interesting to see Cary with somebody else. Oftentimes we jump in relationships too soon after getting out of them, and it'd be interesting to see him to muddle through another relationship because he didn't get closure with Kalinda."
