“iZombie,” the CW’s upbeat and photogenic answer to what seems to be the public's undying fascination with all things zombie, will air its season finale on June 9.

As reported by Spoilers Guide, the episode, "Blaine's World," will have Liv (Rose McIver), our brain-eating heroine, at a kind of crossroads.

After she discovers some new evidence in the Max Rager case, she and her Seattle PD pal Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) will pay a visit to Vaughn Du Clark (played by ex "Wings" cast member Steven Weber) at Max Rager Headquarters.

Meanwhile Ravi (Rahul Kohli) will go on with his search for a cure, and Blaine (David Anders) proposes an idea to Liv that she is going to have a hard time saying no to. And if all this typical “iZombie” action is not crazy and unlikely enough, Major (Robert Buckley) will find himself in the middle of an unbelievable situation.

“iZombie” fans were recently shocked by the death of Liv’s boyfriend Lowell. Since Liz basically gets to know all the secrets of the person she decides to chow down on, would it not make some kind of ritualistic romantic sense for her to eat her dead boyfriend’s brain?

In an interview with TVline, Rose McIver said the gruesome but loving thought had already crossed her mind. Elaborating on the implications of taking a psychic snack on her beloved, the 26-year-old actress said, “It’s kind of like reading someone’s diary, and there’s nothing to be gained from that right now.”

Well with Lowell out of the way now, Liz has even less to tie her to the world of ethics and might delve into her darker desires. And things are really intensifying as the season comes to an end. According to McIver, “There are some pretty huge reveals.”
