Bobbi Kristina Brown Death Rumors: Bobbi Reportedly Afraid of Bathtubs After Whitney Houston's Death
Still traumatized by the memory of her mother's comatose body being found underwater, Bobbi Kristina Brown was so spooked by the thought of bathtubs she reportedly stopped taking baths. Chances are she wouldn't have gone anywhere near the tub where she too was found submerged face down, sources allege.
RadarOnline reports family friend Debra Reis Brooks tells authorities she's still struggling to comprehend just what happened the morning the only daughter born to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found unresponsive and rushed to an Atlanta Hospital emergency room.
"I didn't think foul play," Brooks said of her initial reaction. "But thinking how Krissi got in that tub. It didn't make sense. Krissi never took a bath, ever ever! She was deathly afraid of bathtubs. No way Krissi would have drawn a bath, no way."
Affectionately known as "Mama Deb," Brooks also told investigators at first she wondered if the 22-year-old, who suffers from seizures, may have slipped and knocked herself unconscious. By now she even has serious reservations about that theory.
In addition, Marlene Bradley told police that her daughter, who is dating Gordon's friend, has doubts about the drowning being an accident.
Shortly before Bobbi Kristina was discovered in the tub, "Danyela heard Nick screaming and yelling," said Bradley. "Nick was the last person to see [Bobbi Kristina] alive."
Back in early February, TMZ reported Georgia police had opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina's hospitalization after doctors also found several other unexplained bruises on her body. The probe reportedly targets Gordon as a primary suspect.
Whitney Houston's body was found in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel a little more than three years ago. Authorities later revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.
