'Ladies, Keep Your Pubic Hair' Says Cameron Diaz in New 'The Body Book'
Cameron Diaz is encouraging ladies to go au natural "down there" in her new book, The Body Book.
Diaz's first book has an important message to share: keep your pubic hair. According to E! News, the former Charlie's Angel dedicated an entire section of her book to explaining why women should keep their vaginas "fully dressed".
"I hear that there's a big fad these days of young women undergoing laser hair removal on all of their lady bits," Diaz writes in the book.
Diaz is not a fan of the laser pubic hair removal trend because it is permanent. In fact, Diaz said the trend is a "crazy idea."
"I know you may think you'll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won't," she wrote.
According to the new author, the bald look will not be in style forever, so if the trend dies, some women will be in a hairy situation, so to speak.
"The idea that vaginas are preferable in a hairless state is a pretty recent phenomenon, and all fads change, people," Diaz continued.
The 41-year-old is so adamant about the beauty of pubic hair, which she calls a "pretty little draping," that she considers it the wrapping paper on the present that is a lady's special parts.
"Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is," Diaz writes.
Diaz wrote The Body Book, which features Sandra Bark, in order to teach women to love their own bodies.
Last month, Diaz received a hardcopy cover of her book. She shared the photo on Instagram, and made sure she was not a hypocrite of her body-loving mantra by not wearing make-up and sporting casual hair.
"One of my proudest moments! Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!! @thebodybook LADIES!! I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY.. And I'm so excited to share it with you!! ...#loveyouramazingbody," the photo's caption said.
The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body is currently available on Amazon.
