Season 6 of ABC's hit police drama "Rookie Blue" is almost upon us (June 25) in the U.S. but if you're across the border up north in Canada, you already know all about the highly-anticipated premiere.

"Rookie Blue's" writer and executive producer, Tassie Cameron, who's based in Toronto, shared her excitement of the premiere of Season 6 via Twitter.

"So, went offline to watch S6 premiere of #RookieBlue with my sister... Just came back to see that we're #1 trending in Canada. Hell, yeah!" she wrote.

As for the upcoming season, Cameron reportedly revealed to The TV Junkies in an earlier interview that events will pick up "about a couple of weeks" after what happened in Season 5.

"That Ted McDonald (Shawn Doyle) bomb plot, you have not seen the end of that story," Cameron teased. "That's part of it, that 15 Division is starting to realize that something is going on within their own force, with their own people."

Also according to Cameron, Nick finally moves on from Andy with his new girlfriend, Juliette (played by Erin Karpluk who joins the cast). However, there may be trouble in paradise as Juliette comes with plenty of drama, thus making life more challenging for the police officer.

Cameron also revealed "that Nick will have lots to face with his new romance as Juliette has a major secret she's hiding from him."

"She's the main addition in Season 6 and she walks into the premiere and bowls Nick over and takes him off guard," she said in an earlier interview. "This woman, who basically ditched him has a very, very mysterious agenda in Season 6. What that character is up to is I hope kind of an intriguing, mysterious arc."

While the fate of the show is still "up in the air," according to Cameron, that doesn't mean she isn't grateful for the show's successful run so far. Back in April, she tweeted her appreciation for its run so far.

"Sitting here, thinking about #RookieBlue...S6 & beyond (fingers crossed) - and all our incredible, passionate viewers around the world."

Don't worry American fans, U.S. viewers will see Season 6 (or Season 5B) on iTunes one day after the Thursday, June 25 ABC premiere, which will air on its 10/9c timeslot on ABC.
