Selena Gomez is rumored to be using her rekindled friendship with Kylie Jenner to keep an eye on wayward ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

According to HollywoodLife, Jenner and Gomez's friendship imploded months ago with Bieber rumored to be at the center of much of the tension. Jenner, 17, recently signalled that she and Gomez's once icy relationship might be thawing by posting a pic that captured both of them in the shot on her social media platform.

Now a source flat out tells the website, "She's using Kylie to find out what's going on with Justin. Being friends with his friends is the best way to stay in the loop with him."

Sources previously told HollywoodLife the "Come Get It" singer remains enamored with Bieber and "wants to know how he is and if he talks about her."

Jenner and Gomez infamously fell out months ago when rumors began circulating that Jenner's older sister, Kendall, and Bieber had "hooked up" during one of his frequent breakups with Gomez.

"Selena has heard that Kendall and Justin are hooking up and feels totally lied to, betrayed and stabbed in the back by Kendall," a source told the website back then. "She doesn't know how long it's been going on, but she's convinced it's actually happening, and feels embarrassed and foolish. She doesn't even consider Kendall a friend anymore."

Since then, Gomez has been romantically linked with DJ Zedd, but the two recently split, sparking rumors that it might not be long before she and the 21-year-old "Baby" crooner found their back to one another.

Over the last several months, Bieber has been rumored to be dating everyone from Ashley Moore to Hailey Baldwin to Jayde Pierce.

Even though they are rumored to have been dating for only a few short weeks, 19-year-old Pierce is already rumored to have introduced Bieber to her family.
