Ben McKenzie, the star of the Batman-prequel TV series "Gotham," got himself a buyer within a week after listing his Hollywood Hills home on the market for $1.895 million, reports Los Angeles Times.

The 2,081-square- foot L.A. home of the actor who portrays James Gordon in the Fox series is now on pending status as the buyer's money is reportedly in escrow, notes the site. The actor who also starred in "O.C." actually bought the charming home in 2005 for about $1.429 million.

The home displays a Spanish theme and is resting on almost one-third of an acre of carefully-maintained grounds, dotted with grown trees. What completes the grounds is the swimming pool which is perfect to beat the summer heat. The pool was made even more relaxing with surrounding flowering trees.

Guests will enjoy sitting and talking comfortably in the two patios after a long swim. The patios could also serve as the entertainment area for a nice barbecue party. There's an outdoor kitchen, too, for the host's cooking needs.

Based on its listing on Zillow, the Nichols Canyon residence built in 1950 was recently renovated by McKenzie to fit the modern times.

Inside the home, one will find architectural details like hardwood-lined flooring, arched doorways, and recessed lighting.

The home kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances like Sub-Zero refrigerator and even Viking appliances to boot. The new owner will have an easy time working with new and old recipes alike in a modern kitchen such as this.

The home which Mckenzie will soon say goodbye to, also contains three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. There is a guesthouse for close visitors to stay. The guest suite reportedly comes with a bathroom. However, the new owner may readily convert the said guesthouse to a home office, a library, a personal gym or a store room.

The real estate agent who is currently handling the listing is Kimberly Green of Keller Williams Realty, notes LA Times.

The same agent was interviewed on Zillow and she shared that "The home is surrounded by a tranquil outdoor living space that can be enjoyed from both the front of the house as well as two outdoor patios." Based on the photos, one can surely see the serenity the lovely home offers.

Another jewel of the property is its master bedroom. The suite showcases several features like a master bathroom equipped with a separate steam shower and tub, a spacious walk-in closet and a direct access to the patio, Zillow adds.

The news site did not reveal any information about the buyer of the property.
