Even though "Mad Men" is over, it doesn't mean you won't be seeing your favorite actors play other characters with spunk.

According to Salon, the eight main cast members have already got logs in the fire elsewhere with solid projects coming to your big and small screens across the nation.

Jon Hamm has made quite a name for himself playing the ultra-serious, handsome Mad Man Don Draper on the dramatic series. But Hamm has also made a name for himself in comedy on the side, which included appearances on "Saturday Night Live," "30 Rock," "Parks and Recreation," "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and "Bridesmaids."

So it shouldn't come as any surprise to you that he will be appearing in the Netflix comedy series "Wet Hot American Summer," which is a prequel to the 2001 film. The series will also host two other "Mad Men" alumni, John Slattery and Rich Sommer.

Everyone has also seen what January Jones (Betty Draper/Francis) has been up to since she starred in the freshmen season of the hit Fox comedy "The Last Man on Earth." The show is a post-apocalyptic comedy that was created by and stars Will Forte.

Emmy nominee Christina Hendricks is taking her dramatic acting talents over to Showtime in the Cameron Crowe - J.J. Abrams series "Roadies." With such talents attached to the show, one can only assume it is going to be a hit.

Elisabeth Moss has made a few independent films since being with "Mad Men," and she also seems to be filling her plate with other dramatic films, which includes "Truth." This film is about the "60 Minutes" scandal with Dan Rather, and she will portray Lucy Scott, who comes aboard the scandal to manage the situation, according to Deadline.

Jay R. Ferguson has singed on to a comedy series on ABC about a father of a gay son who comes out of the closet.

Alison Brie will star in the Sundance comedy "Sleeping with Other People," opposite Jason Sudeikis.

Kiernan Shipka, although this is purely speculative at this point, has said she would love to follow her TV dad's suggestion and produce a "Mad Men" spinoff that chronicles her life through the decades.

In an interview with Deadline, Shipka responded to Hamm's vision of her in the spinoff.

"That was funny! I think they all decided the title would be 'Sally Through the Decades!' I'm good with it. I'm not saying no," Shipka said.
