iPad 2 Jailbreak iOS 7: Evad3rs Address iPad WiFi Reboot Loop; Should You Download?
The Evaders are working out the tweaks with the iOS 7 Jailbreak after a controversial and buggy Christmastime release in the final week of 2013.
The main complaints in the days following the initial release had to do with things such as Taig, the Chinese App Store, as well as problems with iPads and the jailbreak. The iPad 2 was experiencing problems but the 1.0.2 update provided a fix for the Wifi reboot lip.
For anyone who has not yet gotten the iOS 7 jailbreak or any jailbreak before that, the process of acquiring it is very fast and simple. All you have to do is visit the Evad3rs website and follow the requirements listed. In total, the website says people can complete the jailbreak in just 5 minutes. The other requirements include a Windows or Mac OSX computer along with iTunes, an iOS 7 device, and a USB cable. Acquiring the jailbreak over the air -- as well as updating the jailbreak over the air -- is said to create issues, according to the Evasi0n website.
If you have any additional questions about the jailbreak, you can check out the forums on the Evad3rs website. There are questions posted throughout the day and each one gets answered pretty quickly.
The iOS 7 jailbreak release at Christmastime was quite surprising considering that most people were expecting the release date to be in 2014. Perhaps 2014 was actually the targeted release date; the feud between the Evad3rs and Saurik pressured the Evad3rs to release sooner than planned, the group said in one of their letters from last week.
What do you think about the iOS 7 Jailbreak so far? Have you gotten it or are you holding out for a bit to see if any more issues come up? Let us know in the comments section!
