Lamar Odom was photographed at Runyon Cayon in Hollywood taking a hike last Friday. The usually friendly NBA player wanted nothing do with photographers as he covered his face with a towel. It turns out Lamar wants to be as silent as possible as he prepares for an upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where he worries about portrayed in a negative light.

After Khloé Kardashian filed for divorce last month, Lamar knew that he was going to loose some credibility as the loved and adored reality husband he once was. The basketball player and now ex-husband of Khloé Kardashian had a rough year in 2013, when his drug addiction and infidelities came to the light. On Jan. 19, it all comes back to hunt him as the Kardashians premiere the new season of KUWTK, highlighting the downfall of "Khloé and Lamar".

A source tells Radar Online that "The last thing Lamar needs in his life is to be portrayed as a schmuck. Khloé has assured him that it won't be bad, but how can it not be? The end of the marriage is going to be Khloé's main storyline next season and Lamar is afraid that his drug use and cheating will be addressed on the show." Odom is trying to re-build his basketball career, and life, after his downfall and split from the famous Kardashian sister.

"At the same time, he is trying to make a career comeback and he thinks this is going to hinder and hurt those efforts. He feels he's going to be used to get ratings for the Kardashians," the source added. Sorry to say that Lamar should be worried because, well, this is probably the season everyone is waiting for since Khloé did admit that she ultimately decided to let the cameras in to the unfolding of her marriage.

Maybe Odom's choice to keep it low key right now in order to avoid adding more fire to the flame is the way to go. We feel your pain, Lamar, but boy, are we anxious to see the details of it all on KUWTK! Sorry, Lammy.
