Rihanna is presently under fire from social media users for a controversial photo that she posted on her official Instagram page. Although the “B*tch Better Have My Money” song maker has a knack of keeping almost everything about her controversial, as pointed out by Hollywood Life, she may have gone a bit too far with the gun-toting picture that she shared to her following.

A lot of her fans had started to refer to their music idol as “crazy” after she posted that particular photo, especially as she had opted to caption it with “Brainwashed.”

One social media user wrote, “Why are people so blind?! She is brainwashed & brainwashing young people, too! Pray for her soul. She needs us!” Another fan commented on her photo, “You need Jesus in your heart.” However, some of her fans remained supportive. One fan gushed about her new look, "Love the hair." Another wrote, "You are unpredictiable. i like that - very unique."

Although the gun that Rihanna was holding seemed real, Daily Mail has reported that it was actually a fake one. The Barbadian singer was holding the fake pink hand gun while wearing a green, military-themed jacket with long, sequined sleeves that seemed to be too big for her actual size.

RiRi might be getting a lot of backlash for her gun-centered social media post, but the Hollywood Life report has pointed out that she might have found a loyal fan in her fellow music artist A$AP Rocky. When the rapper first launched his new track, "Jukebox Joints," fans were quick to assume that he was rapping about the "Umbrella" singer.

“Ain’t nothing better than the pretty big forehead b*tch / Cinderella’s under my umbrella for different weather / Ella, ella, ay, just play it like I didn’t tell ya,” A$AP Rocky rapped.

He could have been rapping about someone else, but the reference to "umbrella" was a clear nod towards the "FourFiveSeconds" songstress.

Not so surprisingly, Rihanna’s controversial gun-toting social media photograph went viral around the same time that her latest campaign video with Dior, entitled, “Secret Garden IV,” became trending all over the Internet. The viewership of the short version has reportedly already surpassed 6,000,000, which is very good news – considering that the video was only uploaded to YouTube a week ago.

The Dior video was shot inside the Palace of Versailles by internationally renowned photographer Steve Klein. Rihanna looked absolutely glamorous in the campaign video clip as she walked through the Hall of Mirrors. The regal take on RiRi’s Dior campaign is only fitting for her, considering that she is officially the first black woman to be heralded as the new face of Dior.

“It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any color,” Rihanna told MTV. “I think to be acknowledged by Dior means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful and elegant and timeless.”
