Isn't it nice to see people doing good things for each other? In this case singer and actress Jennifer Hudson gave her assistant one of the most generous gifts ever! We have heard of assistant's getting designer bags for Christmas but this, this is beyond amazing, Jen.

It's no wonder Walter Williams, Jennifer Hudson's assistant, reacted the way he did after the singer handed him what seemed to be some legal papers to his new house. Yes, she bought him a freaking house. Now Walter has to be an exceptional assistant to receive a gift like this because you don't hear of bosses being this generous very often.

Jennifer Hudson proved to the world once again that she has a big heart when she posted William's reaction to her surprise on Instagram. She captioned the video, "My assistant Walter's reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!" The hilarious and joyous clip shows a screaming Walter jumping in astonishment as he finds out what the "Dreamgirl" star just bought him.

Hudson's reaction to Williams screaming and prancing on her is equally as great. Jennifer obviously didn't know what to expect from her thankful assistant after giving him such a gift. A group of guests, including Hudson's sister Julia, laugh and cheer as they watch the entire surprise go down on video.

The Oscar winning actress and Walter Williams have known each other since the sixth grade, when they were classmates at Yale Elementary in Chicago. He has been her longtime assistant since the beginning of her career and Hudson says, "he's by far [her] closest friend and closest gay friend ever." Williams has been there for the singer through it all, especially through the tragic murders of her mother, brother and nephew back in 2008.

Jennifer posted another picture on her Instagram covered in snow with Williams in the background captioned, "He dumped me in the snow yal! That damn Walter." Hudson and Williams seem to have an unbreakable bond and that is something to cherish when someone you work with can be trusted. Walter, we can tell you deserved that house, congrats!
