'Don't Starve' PS4 Release Date, Guide & Cheats: Indie Game Hits Sony's PS Plus; Devil May Cry Available for PS3
The indie game 'Don't Starve' will be available to PS Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4 in a few hours, while PS3 users will be able to enjoy 'DmC: Devil May Cry' on the same day.
Sony opens the new year with some pretty nice prelude to PlayStation users. PS3 and PS4 users will be able to download 'DmC Devil May Cry' and 'Don't Starve' respectively come Tuesday, reports GamenGuide. That is, if the users have subscribed to PS Plus.
PS Plus is Sony's paid membership plan with which PS3, PS4 and PS Vita users can subscribe to. For a 12-month membership subscription fee of $49.99 or under $5 a month, gamers are entitled to several free games and a whole load of other perks.
Free PS4 games included with membership are 'Resogun' and 'Contrast', while titles for the PS Vita include 'Sonic', 'Gravity Rush', 'Urban Trial Freestyle', 'Uncharted: Golden Abyss', 'wipEout 2048' and 'Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD'. There are 12 more titles for PS3 game console users - totaling to 21 free games.
The PS Plus membership works across all three systems eradicating the need to have multiple membership accounts should one prove to be a Sony freak - owning all three systems.
Subscribers also get to access free hit games and enjoy discounts of up to 75% off at the PlayStation store. Sony has also tossed in 1GB game save data, full game trials and priority beta invites to the lot.
As for the free games ths Tuesday, 'Don't Starve' is an adventure, strategy, simulation game which maker Kiel Entertainment describes as "an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic." Gamers will be playing as "gentleman scientist" Wilson.
'DmC: Devil May Cry' is a Capcom action game where users play as Vergil. The game was released in February 2013 and features new weapons - including exclusive samurai weapons. The game is centered on revealing the untold story of Vergil - Dante's twin brother.
