'Real Housewives of New York City' Cast News: Bethenny Frankel's New Mystery Man Identified As Citigroup Honcho Peter Chalif
Bethenny Frankel appears to have a new man in her life.
One week after being spotted strolling hand-in-hand with a mystery man around New York City, the Daily Mail reports Star Magazine has identified the man in question as 41-year-old Citigroup Global Markets financial adviser Peter Chalif.
It was not long ago that the 44-year-old "Real Housewives of New York City" reality TV star was seen cavorting all across town with ex Michael Cerussi. But now, that all seems so yesterday.
"On the surface, Peter seems to be the perfect guy Bethenny's always wanted," the source told the magazine, according to the Mail. The source later added, "He's rich and good looking and appears to have a good heart."
Chalif reportedly owns a $3.7 million mansion in New Jersey he calls Landmore that was once owned by Thomas Edison's son. He also appears to have a philanthropic side, and is a founding member of the nonprofit Little Kids Rock.
On a recent night out, Frankel was seen wearing a cream sweater underneath a chic tan leather jacket, which coordinated with a tan leather handbag. She also donned skintight dark wash jeans as well as black ankle booties.
After over more than a year of dating, Frankel and Cerussi split back in March. Prior to that, she endured a bitter and messy divorce in 2013 from ex-husband Jason Hoppy. All of Frankel's relationship struggles apparently prompted her to pen her latest tome, "I Suck at Relationships So You Don't Have To."
Per their settlement, Frankel was recently ordered to pay Hoppy $26,000 a month in alimony, plus $100,000 in lawyer fees. The two have a young daughter together, Bryn, for whom they share custody.
Frankel recently announced she was returning to "Real Housewives of New York" after leaving the show for several seasons.
