‘Five Nights at Freddy's’ Movie Release Date, Theories: Springtrap Teaser Fan Film You Must See, Will Movie Start With Purple Guy? [WATCH]
When Warner Bros. announced in April that the studio plans to make a movie based on the popular indie video game franchise Five Nights at Freddy's, fans have speculated what direction the film will take.
Hollywood has produced rather lackluster versions of other video game franchises like Doom and Resident Evil, prompting FNAF fans to throw out ideas to ensure the film is everything fans expect and want.
While we do not know a great deal about the film project currently, there are several theories from Scott Cawthon fans about the film's storyline.
Hollywood Storyline of "Five Night's at Freddy's"
The Five Nights at Freddy's game franchise has well established story threads that could be used in a major motion picture, such as the Phone Guy, the Purple Guy, or Golden Freddy. Of course, Cawthon and Warner Bros. could take the film adaptation in an entirely new direction.
Many fans speculate that if this happens, "Five Nights at Freddy's" could end up a film in which the killers aren't really animatronics but, rather, disgruntled teens in costume.
"Five Night's at Freddy's" Origin Story
Five Nights at Freddy's 3 gave fans a satisfying conclusion to the series, but we don't know exactly how the cycle of murder and mayhem began. We know that the Purple Guy murdered a child outside Fredbear's Family Diner which started the series of events. It doesn't explain how the ghosts of several children rise from the dead seeking revenge, or how Freddy, Foxy, Chica, Bonnie and the other animatronics become antagonists in the game.
It may be in the best interest of Cawthon and Warner Bros. to create a movie that starts in the beginning and answers the questions that fans want to know. It would draw the interest of new fans and please existing fans.

Fans have commented positively about the video. One fan, Iambic Pentameter, commented, "The Warner Bros. movie better be as good as this."
