French Montana's associates were arrested Saturday on a slew of drug and weapons charges while on the set of a video being filmed by his Coke Boys Record crew.

The New York Daily News reported the video shoot also featured such hip hop heavyweights as Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Juelz Santana and Noreaga and was being heralded as a tribute to fellow crew member Chinx, who was gunned down and killed last month in a Queens drive-by shooting.

Meanwhile, Radar reports it's uncertain if on-again, off-again girlfriend Khloe Kardashian was on the scene of the incident, but she was spotted in New York City just hours before it all went down.

Among the three men and two women taken into custody were a security guard charged with carrying a defaced firearm and another man and a woman, both of whom were also found with revolvers in their vicinity. Plainclothes cops were able to infiltrate the Brooklyn shoot just after 6 p.m.

The Daily News adds that police insist cocaine, marijuana and molly were also freely flowing and officers learned of the event through the complaints from concerned residents

According to Radar, Kardashian was in New York despite recently being warned about keeping her distance from Montana in the wake of the May 17 brutal slaying of rapper Chinx. Her brother, Rob, is also rumored to have been one of the fallen artist's best friends.

"This situation is way too close for comfort for her and Rob," a source told Radar.

The 30-year-old Kardashian and Montana have casually dated for more than a year now, commencing not long after she filed for divorce from her NBA husband Lamar Odom in December 2013. She and Odom have never formally divorced and there have been recent reports that the two might be considering a reconciliation.
