Young Jeezy Arrested: Rapper Surrenders to Police Over Domestic Dispute with Son
Another day, another rapper arrested: Young Jeezy has been arrested, allegedly for making terroristic threats against his son. However, according to the rapper, the accusations are coming thanks to a "crazy baby mama."
According to The Huffington Post, the Atlanta rapper (real name: Jay Wayne Jenkins) turned himself in to police on Jan. 3. The official charges against him include battery, false imprisonment, and making terrorist threats. "According to the incident report obtained by TMZ, the rapper allegedly slammed his son into a glass shower door, then dragged him to a bedroom and physically assaulted him. The report also stated that Jeezy's son claimed his dad said, 'I will put a bullet in your head right now.' The rapper was released on $45,000 bail," reports The Huffington Post.
But according to MissInfo.tv, via TMZ, Jeezy is claiming that the claims of a terrorist threats and battery are greatly exaggerated, and come as a result of a crazy & vindictive baby mama (is this the new excuse from rappers these days?). "Our Jeezy sources say Jadarius became belligerent and the two starting screaming at each other. Jeezy claims he never hit, choked, or dragged his son, but admits he shoved him to the ground when Jadarius got in his face. As for the terroristic threats -- Jeezy is accused of telling Jadarius, 'I will kill you ... I will put a bullet in your head right now' -- the rapper claims all he said was something to the effect of, 'I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it.' Our sources claim at the bottom of it all ... Tenesha Dykes, whom they say is brainwashing the son against his dad and trying to squeeze every penny she can get from Jeezy."
Now, is it possible that the baby mama is crazy? Absolutely. It's also possible that Jeezy really did do what he was accused of doing. Or, of course, it's possible that this is all one big publicity stunt, because Jeezy has a tour and a project coming up. (My money is on the latter, mind you.)
