Fans of Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto Online" are in for another treat as the game developer has recently announced that two expansion packs will be available for the title in summer 2015. The first of the two will arrive as early as next week and it is expected to bring lots of exciting new things such as weapons, cars and even new fashion for the players.

Called "Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1," the upcoming DLC is said to cater to the tastes of the wealthy for "high-end crimes across southern San Andreas."

According to the description posted on the game developer's website, the upcoming free expansion pack will hit "the showrooms of luxury car dealerships, the shelves of top arms suppliers and other prestigious retailers."

The arrival of these luxury items coincides with the high crime rate in the area. As such, players can finally take advantage of their heist money with high-end products to match the lifestyle of the noveau riche in the area.

The announcement was accompanied with screen shot images of what to expect in the DLC. Among the new things expected to arrive for the game are the following:

  •  Buckingham Swift Deluxe helicopter in gold
  •  Albany Virgo, a blue-colored classic-designed car
  •  Eight vehicle wrap designs for the luxury automobile Enus Windsor
  •  Buckingham Luxor Deluxe airplane in gold
  •  Gull-wing doors for the popular Pegassi Osiris sports car
  •  Pegassi Osiris' arrival to Legendary Motorsport
  •  Combat Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) would finally arrive to Ammu-Nation
  •  Hundreds of high-end clothing and accessories to luxury brands

Rockstar Games has yet to announce the exact release date of the expansion pack, but they promised that it will be next week. The "Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1" will be available not just on PC, but also on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

No further details have been given for the second DLC due this summer.

While all platforms that currently plays "GTA Online" will be able to access the upcoming DLC, PC users still has an extra feature that is exclusive to them.

The Rockstar Editor is one of the added specifications gamers using desktop computers can utilize.

With this editor, players can make their own videos and gameplay trailers, which they can upload and share to others.

The PC-exclusive feature will soon be available to current-generation consoles as the game developer has revealed that they are working on a PS4 and Xbox One version, which they hope to release this summer as well.
