Looking to grab a new LG G4 smartphone in the United States? Good news -- it's finally here.

The LG G4 saw its release kick off with T-Mobile earlier this week when the carrier began selling the smartphone online through retail stores June 3. Verizon, the nation's largest carrier, will be following June 4, and both AT&T and Sprint will begin to sell the handset in stores Friday, June 5.

Payment plans differ throughout the four major carriers, and it will depend on which plan you have (or desire to have) that will ultimately determine how much the handset will cost to you monthly. Most installment plans hover around $20 per month and expect to shell out $200 if you snag a G4 on with a two-year contract. If you were to buy it upfront, however, Verizon seems to be the cheapest option, offering the LG G4 for $550 outright. Sprint and T-Mobile are both selling the handset for $600 and AT&T is charging $630.

The LG G4 marks LG's latest flagship entry in the high-end smartphone market and, based on early reviews from around the technosphere, the handset doesn't disappoint. The 5.5-inch 2560x1440 QHD display has been hailed as crisper and clearer than before, and the camera is touted as one of the best in the business alongside the Samsung Galaxy S6's.

"LG's 2015 flagship has a lot going for it, including a lovely pair of cameras and a screen that promises to be the most accurate on the market," reads Engadget's review.

Bear in mind, however, that the smartphone is encased in plastic and does come with a clunky LG interface layered on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The LG G4 also doesn't come with some features that other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with such as rapid or wireless charging right out of the box.

LG also recently announced two spinoff models, the LG G4 Stylus and LG G4c. Both variants are aimed at giving consumers more choices when it comes to the size of their G4 -- the G4 Stylus is 5.7 inches and the G4c is 5 inches. The two contain slightly different specs, but the overall design is relatively the same. The G4 Stylus and G4c will be rolling out internationally in the coming weeks, although a U.S. release has not been confirmed.
