NBA 2K16: Covers for New Game Unveiled, Plus Locker Codes and More for NBA 2K15
The NBA Finals are in full force. That means the NBA season is coming to an end and a new basketball simulation game is already in the works for next season.
NBA 2K16 will be the next NBA 2K video game to be released. This week, three different covers for the game were unveiled. Three different athletes will be featured on the cover of NBA 2K16: Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis.
The new game will be co-produced by the famed director Spike Lee. Lee will help write and direct the MyCareer mode of NBA 2K16, according to Gotta Be Mobile. In MyCareer mode, players can create their own likeness and experience what it is like to start as a rookie and rise to stardom in the NBA.
MyCareer mode will have some dialogue and story lines, and Lee will be responsible for creating its content.
In NBA 2K15, game developers scanned the faces of athletes into the game to make their likenesses look even more realistic. In NBA 2K16, players are getting full body scans, according to KPopStarz. This means even more realism will be added to the game.
NBA 2K16 will be released Sept. 29. Players who pre-order the game will be given access to play it four days early and will receive some virtual currency (VC) and other bonuses as well.
Monday, NBA 2K15 offered a chance to pick up MyTeam Ruby All-Stars in packs. These packs were available until Monday afternoon.
Tuesday's streaming show NBA2KCast will feature Ronnie 2K and special guest Papoose. Ronnie and Papoose will be playing the MyPark mode. Be sure to tune into the show Tuesday because Ronnie might be giving out some Locker Codes.
Another great way to earn Locker Codes is by following Ronnie 2K on Twitter. Ronnie always warns his followers before he is about to give out Locker Codes. Act quickly, because these codes often expire.
