Grammy Awards 2014 Nominations, Rumors, and Update: Taylor Swift Joins Performance Lineup
The upcoming 56th annual Grammy Awards undoubtedly expects to be an exciting event, full of the A-list performers who will take the stage.
Four-time nominee Taylor Swift was recently chosen to return after giving a quite unforgettable circus-inspired spectacular at last year's awards, while seven-time nominee Macklemore & Lewis will be making their Grammy debut this year.
The forementioned performers will be also joined by other impressive artists, including classic rock legends Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, who are set to receive Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award for their acclaimed work with the Beatles.
The nominee for Surprise Album of the Year, Sara Bareilles, will perform in collaboration with pop legend Carole King, who is the recipient of the MusiCares Person of the Year award this year, while the country singer Kacey Musgraves will be playing the big stage for her first time ever.
Other performing acts that have been added to the next week's lineup include: John Legend teaming up with the American Idol returning panelist Keith Urban, who are set to join the previously announced performer list that features Daft Punk with Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder, Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons, Lorde, an interesting duet Metallica and Chinese classical pianist Lang Lang, Katy Perry, Pink with Fun.'s Nate Reuss, Robin Thicke and Chicago and country Merle Haggard jamming with Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Black Shelton.
This year's Grammy Awards is scheduled to take place live from Los Angeles' Staples Center on Sunday, Jan. 26.
