NBA 2K15: Game Glitch Announces Cavaliers as NBA Champions, Plus Pink Diamond Carmelo Anthony Locker Code Released
NBA 2K15 has prematurely declared the Cleveland Cavaliers as the 2014-2015 NBA Champions, and remarkably the game says they did it in three games.
NBA 2K15's NBA Today page displays the results of the NBA Finals. It congratulates the Cavaliers as the champions and shows the date of June 10, 2015, according to Fansided.
At that time, the Cavaliers held a 2-1 series lead. However, there was still more basketball to be played. The winner of the NBA Finals is the first team to reach four wins. Since NBA 2K15 gave the Cavaliers the title early, the Golden State Warriors have won two games and taken a 3-2 lead. The Warriors can close out the series with a win Tuesday in Cleveland.
NBA 2K15 will need to fix the glitch that appears on the NBA Today page, especially if the Warriors end up winning Tuesday night.
Over the weekend, a Locker Code to unlock Pink Diamond Carmelo Anthony was released. The Locker Code provided all but two characters, and players were forced to decipher the code on their own in order to unlock Pink Dimaond Carmelo Anthony.
After Stephen Curry and the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers in Game 5 Sunday evening, a Locker Code to unlock Pink Diamond Steph Curry was released. The code provided all but one character. The very first character was missing, and the clue was that it was a random letter in the alphabet.
Some Twitter followers of @NBA2K groaned that the codes were only partially released.
