Katy Perry's "The Prismatic World Tour" is the singer's first tour since 2011's "California Dreams" and much awaited details of Katy Perry's North American tour leg has finally been released.

Billboard writes that the North America itinerary will be kicking off in Raleigh, N.C. on June 22 and will visit a total of 46 cities in the U.S. and Canada over four months, before ending in Houston on October 10.

The Prismatic World Tour begins in the U.K. on May 7 and Icona Pop serves as Katy's opening act and other opening acts include Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara.

During a recent interview, "Writing with Katy was a fun joining of worlds and a good song came out of it," Musgraves shared with Billboard. "I love when brains come together with different colors and influences to throw into the mix. We're fans of each other so it works and was an awesome experience."

"The Prismatic World Tour is coming to light up some of my favorite North American cities this summer," said the 29 year old Perry. "This colorful show will bring you all the songs you know as well as ones from my new album, 'PRISM'... I'm so excited that I got to hand-select some of my favorite artists to join me on this journey. I know you'll love Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara as much as I do."

According to a press release, the show will utilize a "state-of-the-art stage," that is especially designed by Perry herself. The features "will provide concert-goers with a truly magical experience from every angle in the arena." To get truly intimate, fans will need to purchase a general admission ticket in the glamorously titled "Reflection Section", reports Rollingstone
