Superman vs Batman Movie Release Date, Cast & News Update: Ex 'Lost' Star Josh Holloway Considered For A Role, Fox Develops New Series 'Gotham'
The Superman vs Batman movie only has little time left before spring comes in and start filming officially. And this is enough reason for them to further confirm the rest of their cast.
The latest cast rumors include that of ex Lost star Josh Holloway who is speculated to be considered for a role that is not yet even specified, Comic Book Movie reported. Other websites though think strongly that he is firmed up to play the role of Aquaman while there are some who disagree thinking that the mentioned character won't even be included in the Man of Steel sequel.
Josh Holloway is currently a star of Intelligence and had a short stint for the movie Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol. One website called Latino Review said that these rumors are not true at all.
Batman-News.com emphasize how Superman vs Batman rumors include the name of Jason Momoa, and now even being tied to potentially playing Aquaman. Others have tied him to the possibility of the actor playing as one of the villains due to his big size. But over the weekend, Jason denied all connections to the sequel.
With all these, the upcoming movie continues to be filled with much mystery including Warner Bros. taking the same path that The Lord of the Rings movies took. And that is by filming it back to back with the Justice League.
For now, the most confirmed Superman vs Batman details include Zack Snyder as director and actors on board like Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Laurence Fishburne.
Fox will also have another offering for the fans who do not have much interest in the choice of Ben Affleck as Batman. They are developing a series entitled Gotham. It was Deadline who reported that the mentioned show will tackle Bruce Wayne from when he was 12 years old and up to the point that he puts on the cape of the Dark Knight, as revealed by Fox Chairman Kevin Reilly.
