Fifty Shades of Grey Release Date, Cast & News Update: Rita Ora Spotted Flying to Vancouver to Shoot Scenes, Rival Film Backs Out of Valentine's Premiere
With Rita Ora cast to play the sister of Christian Grey, the singer now turned actress was spotted flying to Vancouver to shoot her scenes for the Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation.
Daily Mail UK reported that the singer left Beverly Hills dressed in her bed clothes. She was seen wearing a floral kimono on top of a black dress which has splits on the side. She was also carrying a neon shoulder bag with tribal design. The star looked so happy and excited that she even showed her tongue out to photographers in a naughty capture.
Eventually the Brit singer arrived wearing a long cheetah designed coat pushing her airport cart in Canada, EOnline wrote. The reputed entertainment website added that Kristen Chenoweth will also be arriving in the Fifty Shades of Grey set not to play a part but to visit the producer of the adaptation who is also the actress' boyfriend.
Rita was also spotted catching some sun before heading to the cold country of Canada. Daily Mail UK wrote about it as her 'last minute sun' as the pop star went hanging by a pool in LA. She was with boyfriend Calvin Harris and even shared a photo of herself showing her big tattoo on the side of her breast.
She posted it over Instagram and made a caption saying "Last minute sun just before Vancouver!! #Mia #50."
Meanwhile, according to Entertainment Wise, the movie may still be in its early stages of shooting but other movies aiming for the same Valentine 2015 release date are already threatened. A romantic movie based on another novel of Nicholas Sparks pushed back its release date to avoid being shown alongside Fifty Shades of Grey. Instead of the February 13, 2015 release date, it is now rescheduled for April 3, 2015.
Insiders from the studio insist that the rescheduling can work for their advantage as to having more time to finish the movie and also pointing out that female targeted movies can do better during the Easter holidays.
