'Rookie Blue' Season 6 Spoilers & News: Missy Peregrym aka Andy McNally Praises Gregory Smith for 'Coolest Camera Move of the Season'
What's Next for the "Grey's Anatomy of Rookie Cops?"
Some drama, some mistakes and some really cool camera moves from actor/director Gregory Smith, according to Missy Peregrym, who recently praised "her talented friend" on Twitter.
Peregrym, who takes on the role of Andy McNally, is constantly faced with adversity so when she sees that her fellow rookies are making "cool camera moves," then things just might not look so bad.
We last learned that she is put into a surprising situation where she has to join forces with Juliette Ward (Erin Karpluk), who is dating her ex, Nick Collins (Peter Mooney).
In Episode 3 of "Rookie Blue" Season 6, called "Uprising," we learned that it's a "pressure cooker" type of situation where both Andy and Juliette have to team up and solve the same case as a riot erupts in a female prison facility.
Andy's main squeeze Sam Swarek (Ben Bass) also added to the mayhem as he broke the news to her that he got Marlo Cruz (Rachel Ancheril) pregnant when they were still together.
While the female officers share "a deeply personal conversation," however Andy pulls back and tells Juliette to stop dating Nick after she reportedly discovers Juliette's biggest lie.
The hugely popular ABC TV show, which kicked off its sixth season in Canada, was created by Morwyn Brebner, Tassie Cameron and Ellen Vanstone, and first premiered in the Global network in Canada and ABC in the U.S. on June 24, 2010.
Set in Toronto, "the stakes are high for five young cops fresh out of the Academy and ready for their first day with one of the most elite units in the city. Under the watchful guidance of their officers, Andy McNally (Peregrym) and her four fellow rookies quickly learn that no amount of training could prepare them for this new world where every day is a first," according to the show's description. "Each case they tackle and choice they make will impact their lives, but it's their personal relationships that may play an even greater role in defining the cops they become."
"Rookie Blue" will air on ABC June 25. Canadian viewers are ahead of the game as the show is about to air its third episode this week after its May 21 premiere.
