Big Bethesda fan? If so, then E3 2015 definitely brought some tasty morsels to the table. "Fallout 4?" Check. "Doom 4?" Check. "Elder Scrolls" card game? Check. Let's take a look at three of the most exciting projects on the gaming frontier.

Fallout 4

After seven long years of waiting, "Fallout" fans will finally be able to leave the wasteland of "Fallout 3" and enter the post-apocalyptic sandbox that will be "Fallout 4." Set in Boston, "Fallout 4" will be the biggest, most expansive iteration in the series, says Bethesda.

Details about the game are still scant, although Bethesda did reveal a couple things about the plot, character, and world creation. Players will begin by creating their character, either male or female, "on a beautiful Sunday morning." The characters will have voices of their own this time around and much to everyone's delight, you'll be able to begin raising your own dog companion. Most of the game, however, takes place 200 year later.

It's then that you will once again be scavenging, pillaging, saving, or questing across Bethesda's new wasteland. "Fallout 4," however, allows players to begin affecting the world around them. Players will be able to create and expand their own homestead, arming it with the necessary tools and weapons to survive a bleak Boston.

While little much else is known about the game, there's still one tidbit that will have gamers salivating: "Fallout 4" is coming this year. Bethesda announced the game will be available on Nov. 10 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Doom 4

Then there's 2016. Bethesda announced that "Doom 4" will be landing during the first half of next year. Slated for release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, "Doom 4" will finally hit the shelves after years of being passed around developers. If the trailer's anything to boot, it will be a sight to behold.

Players will explore Mars and a mysterious connection between the UAC Corporation and a demon army from hell. If it sounds like classic "Doom," it's because it sounds like it. Expect traditional multiplayer modes such as deathmatch, clan arenas, and domination.

Customization in "Doom 4" will be at an all-time high thanks to the introduction of a new custom map builder. Users will be able to create their own maps, complete with their own objectives, and upload them to the "Doom" community. Bethesda has a strong track record with the mod community, especially given their success with "The Elder Scrolls," so it's hard to not see this aspect flourishing.

The Elder Scrolls Legends

"Elder Scrolls" fans will get another chance at experiencing one of their favorite fantasy realms thanks to an upcoming free-to-play "strategy card game" for PC and iOS called "The Elder Scrolls Legends." Not much was revealed other than trailer that, as The Verge points out, is strikingly similar to Blizzard's own popular fantasy strategy card game, "Hearthstone." Expect it to release sometime in 2015.
