Even though it's only been a short while since Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been dating, the rumors are circulating around Hollywood that the duo are now engaged! 

ABC's Good Morning America made the observation that the actress, best known for her work in the stoner comedy Pineapple Express, is sporting a brand new bit of bling in her ring, leading many to speculate that it's an engagement ring from her boyfriend, actor Johnny Depp. The 50-year-old actor began dating the 27-year-old actress shortly after he announced his separation from longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis in June 2012.

If it's true that the couple are engaged, it would be the first marriage for both (incredibly, despite famous paramours like Winona Rider, Johnny has never walked down the aisle).

Meanwhile, E! News has snapped a picture of Depp's former girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis, flipping off the paparazzi shortly after being asked if her erstwhile love -- and father of her two children -- was engaged to Heard. Seems like she's taking that possibility well.

"The actor and Heard actually just made their official red-carpet debut as a couple on Saturday, at the Art of Elysium gala at L.A.'s Skirball Center. They were both presenters at the Golden Globes the following night," reports E! News.
