Juventus and Chile player Arturo Vidal is in trouble with the police.

The Chilean soccer player was allegedly driving under the influence when he crashed his Ferrari in the outskirts of Santiago, Chile. According to The Guardian, Vidal suffered minor injuries but is being held by police. He will face a local judge on Wednesday.

Vidal, the Copa América's leading scorer with three goals from two matches, crashed the vehicle when he was driving with his wife on a highway south of the Chilean capital on their way back from a casino. Vidal's wife walked away from the accident unharmed.

Vidal took to Twitter to let everyone know that he is OK.

"Unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident," he said. "Luckily, we are all well and good. Thanks for worrying."

Vidal also posted a video on YouTube thanking everyone for the well wishes and letting them know that he is doing fine.

Vidal is expected to stand trial for driving under the influence. Video of the accident has allegedly surfaced. In the video, a man is heard saying that if he is arrested, Chile would suffer the consequences. The man cannot be seen, but the comment is referring to Copa America.

On Monday, Vidal led the Chilean National Team to a 3-3 tie against Mexico. Chile's next game is against Bolivia on Friday.
