'Power' Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers: There Will be a 'Showdown' Between Ghost's Wife and Lover
Things are heating up on Starz's "Power" this week as Ghost and Angela go to Miami.
"Ghost finally takes Angela to Miami. They live the fantasy of being a couple, but the reality of her investigation to destroys it. Back in New York, Tommy and Kanan become close," according to the Episode 3 description on Starz.
In the preview for "Like We're Any Other Couple," Ghost and Angela are being followed, with Angela being seen running away.
"Power" stars Naturi Naughton and Leela Loren talked to TVLine about their future brawl.
"A showdown between Ghost's wife and his lover is in the cards, but I don't think it's going to be the way you expect...," Naughton teased. "It's not going to be the typical way of [Tasha] taking off her earrings and pulling [Angie's] hair -- of course, that's what I want to do, as the character. But I think Tasha always chooses to be a classy woman."
Loren agrees with her, saying that a stereotypical catfight "would be beneath either one of them."
"These are two incredibly intelligent women," Loren said.
"Power" returned to Starz on June 6 giving fans their dose of the drama that goes on in the drug industry and more, New York Daily News reports.
The leading characters Angela Valdes and James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) are involved in a hot romantic affair with each other. Angela is a United States district attorney while Ghost is a big time drug dealer and owner of Truth nightclub in New York City.
"We have a lot of chemistry but it's childlike, teasing, play-with-you chemistry, mixed with trust," Loren said.
Hardwick added that the show is "mixed with great writing."
Rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is executive producer for the show and stars as a drug dealer named Kanan who just came out of prison after serving 10 years.
50 Cent has accused Fox for copying off his show when producing the hit series "Empire" starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.
