The nominations are out and the top two movies that stole the show are "American Hustle" and "Gravity" leading the pack with 10 nominations each and "12 Years a Slave" following with nine nominations, said ABC News.

The leading movies, "American Hustle" and "Gravity" have both earned director nods.

The 86th Academy Awards will be held on March 2, 2014 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and going to be hosted by the ever-delightful Ellen DeGeneres, reports the LA Times.
