Rihanna, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran News: Pour It Up Singer's Man Crush is Tom Hardy, But She "Can't Remember to Forget" Chris Brown
Sorry, Ri, but Tom Hardy is taken (sad face). Rihanna took to her infamous Instagram page to post a photo of her "Man Crush Monday" and it was non-other than British actor Tom Hardy. We DEF see why the Barbadian superstar would be crushing on this tatted-up stud, but he is engaged and Ri isn't quite over ex Chris Brown anyway.
Star Trek star Tom Hardy was looking hunkalicious in Rihanna's Instagram pic which she captioned, "Whoa it's almost Tuesday...#MCM #tomhardy." But it turns out that actress Charlotte Riley got to him before Ri did. Hardy has been engaged to Riley since July 2010 after meeting on the set of Wuthering Heights. And we get it; it's just a little crush, nothing serious right, Ms. Fenty?
What we're really speculating is how much those "Can't Remember to Forget" lyrics to Shakira and Rihanna's new song do remind us of her 'on and off ' relationship with ex Chris Brown. Although it seems like Chris moved on, as he is back with Karrueche Tran, and Rihanna is doing her own thing being single, the song appears to be about him.
"I go back again, fall off the train, land in his bed," Rihanna sings. Just those lyrics take us back to 2012 when, after the restraining order was over, Chris and Rihanna gave their relationship another try. Remember the public announcement Brown released saying that he had officially ended things between him in Karrueche Tran? Yeah... that's because he went back with the "Stay" singer.
Unfortunately, things between the troubled couple did not work out and Chris ran back to Karrueche Tran, who welcomed him back with opened arms. "Repeat yesterday's mistakes" and "I never seemed to act so stupid" are also clear examples of how Riri felt after her relationship with Brown failed twice. Though Rihanna has not spoken about her break up with Chris, letting it all out in a song is an artist therapy session.
So let it all out girl. Take a listen to Shakira feat. Rihanna's "Cant Remember to Forget" and let us know if you find a connection.
