NFL Top 100 Players Rankings 2015 List: 40-31 Revealed
So many great football players play in the National Football League, but only 100 can make the NFL Network's best list each year. Each and every week the NFL Network voters release 10 new players that are featured for various reasons.
Here are players 40-31.
40. Jason Peters
It's easy to get overshadowed when you're an offensive lineman and you don't play on the Dallas Cowboys roster. The Philadelphia Eagles have a very underrated front five thanks to Jason Peters, who has made seven of the last eight Pro Bowls.
39. Cameron Wake
A pretty great story here. Cameron Wake went undrafted, and even played in the Canadian Football League for a while. It's safe to say Wake has found his niche in the NFL as a pass rusher, having accumulated 63 sacks since 2009. Wake has also made the last three consecutive Pro Bowls for the Miami Dolphins.
38. Brent Grimes
Maybe the most underrated cornerback in the NFL. Brent Grimes hasn't missed a single game of action the last two seasons for the Miami Dolphins, and he is a very elusive player. Grimes can play both sides of the field, and he is a great tackler for a cornerback.
37. A.J. Green
A.J. Green missed a few games last year because of injury, but he still caught 1,041 receiving yards. Green has recorded more than 1,000 receiving yards in all four years of his NFL career. The Cincinnati Bengals will need every bit of Green this upcoming season to dethrone the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North.
36. Tyron Smith
The Cowboys have an elite offensive line thanks to Tyron Smith's blocking. Smith is protecting Romo's blindside, and he helped DeMarco Murray become the league's leading rusher last season. Smith is just 24 years old, and he has a very bright future in Big D. One could argue Smith is the best offensive lineman in the entire league.
35. T.Y. Hilton
With Reggie Wayne now an NFL free agent, T.Y. Hilton is now the top target for Andrew Luck. The Indianapolis Colts have won the AFC South the last two seasons thanks to Hilton's receiving abilities. Hilton has increased his receiving yards the last three consecutive seasons. A very underrated Fantasy Football star.
34. Tony Romo
Tony Romo is a great quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Romo has good accuracy, mobility, and he did lead the Cowboys to an NFC East championship victory last season as well. It looks like Dez Bryant will be the top ranked Cowboy going forward a the player rankings count down.
33. Von Miller
Von Miller is one of the best pass rushers in the league. He has 49 sacks in his 56 games for the Denver Broncos, and he is just entering the prime of his career. Miller has led the Broncos to an AFC Championship all four years that he has been with the team.
32. Odell Beckham
This might be a bit high considering Odell Beckham has only played one season in the league. His incredible catch against the Cowboys last season instantly made him a superstar overnight. Beckham is featured on the new Madden cover. The New York Giants will need every bit of Beckham to win the NFC East this year.
31. Jimmy Graham
Maybe the best tight end in the league. Jimmy Graham averaged more than 10 touchdowns per season with the New Orleans Saints, but he is now a member of the Seattle Seahawks. It will be very interesting watching Graham catch passes from Russell Wilson instead of Drew Brees.
Tune in next week for players 30-21.
