Real Housewives Star Brandi Glanville Twitter Apology Blames Molestation Comments on Interviewing Skills
Brandi Glanville is now apologizing after release a podcast expressing regret that she was never molested.
The Jan. 14 episode of Glanville's podcast show, PodcastOne, featured comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine. During the episode, Glanville made a joke about a very touchy subject, so to speak.
"I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member said. "I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up."
Yesterday, Glanville apologized via Twitter.
"I was interviewing stand up comedians for my podcast! Had to go through their stand up routines to know what 2 talk about!" she said. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone with @Mrjimflorentine @PodcastOne interview My show is a COMEDY based entertainment show for adults I'm sorry."
Glanville, who has two children, told one podcast listener that she is still working on her interviewing skills.
"I'm still learning how to interview stand up comedians. I would kill anyone that touched my kids," she said via Twitter.
During the controversial podcast, the former model even joked about who her ideal molester would have been.
"My sister got felt up by a principal and nothing for me," she continued. "He didn't even look at me sideways."
When asked if that made her "feel hurt," Glanville responded with "yeah."
"Now looking back, I'm super-bummed," she said. "I was thinking, 'All this and nothing?' Super-hot and they passed me up."
Glanville's sense of humor also raised eyebrows recently after a Dec. 9 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills showed her joking about black people.
"You're a black person," Glanville said when Joyce Giraud told her she didn't know how to swim. "All my black friends can't swim. Is that bad?"
Again, Glanville was forced to explain her joke.
"It was a joke, and my black friends would have laughed crazy because they don't go in the pool because they will get their weave f*cked up," Glanville later said.
