From Software is at it again and this time, the developers are out revealing new characters and monsters - making the highly anticipated sequel even more anticipated.
The breakout hit game released awesome stills of the new world of 'Dark Souls 2' on their Facebook fan page, in the form of screen grabs of characters and monsters. A few of them, based on the photo captions, are as follows:
Emerald Herald - A mysterious lady wearing the Emerald Robe.
Lucatiel of Mirrah - He is from the land of Mirrah, the far east, known as a land of knights. Although he was born in an underprivileged social rank, his skills on the battlefield let him became a knight. But then the accursed sign appeared on his body. He came to Drangleic to find a way to undo the curse.
The 3 old ladies and the housekeeper, Milibeth - They welcome you when you wake up in Drangleic.
Maughlin the Armourer - A merchant from Volgen, a region far in the west. He is depressed because his business is going bad. He wandered in many countries then drifted to Drangleic.
Merchant Hag Melentia - He is one of the few Drangleic survivors. He is slowly losing his mind wandering furnitures on his back.
Blue Sentinel Targray - An apostol called Blue Knight. He demands himself and others a strict discipline as a "guide" from the Blue Sentinel covenant. He devotes his life for his noble mission, however, sometimes his words and actions betray a narrow mind.

The newly released photos have sent players on the edge of their seats in anticipation. But next gen game console users are still awaiting the game's PS4 and Xbox One debut.
Based on Edge Online's interview transcript with co-director Yui Tanimura, the game is sticking to the PS3 and the Xbox 360 as developers believe there is still potential for 'Dark Souls 2' in the last gen game consoles.
"At the start of development, we felt that there was still a lot of potential that remained unused in Dark Souls. I hope this can be seen with the demos and footage that we have released. Our intention was to capitalise on the total potential of [seventh-generation] consoles and deliver the game to fans as soon as possible," Tanimura told Edge Online.
Edge Online asked about 'Dark Souls 2's possible PS4 and Xbox One debut, to which the co-director replied, "We have not put any thought into this yet, so I unfortunately can't answer at this point."
'Dark Souls 2' will come to PS3 and Xbox 360 users in North America by March 11, 2014, with the PC version following not long after, says IGN.
