And then, there were eight.

The biggest soccer tournament in South America is nearing its playoff. The 2015 Copa America began with 12 national teams in three separate groups, but four squads have already been eliminated. Those four squads include Mexico, Ecuador, Jamaica and Venezuela.

Argentina, Chile and Brazil won the three groups. Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru and Colombia are the five wild card teams this year. Without further delay, let's break down the knockout round schedule.

Chile (19) vs. Uruguay (8)

This game has all the storylines. Chile is the host nation, and they are looking to win their first ever Copa America tournament. Uruguay, on the other hand, is trying to win their 16th Copa America title, which would extend their national record to 16. Chile won Group A with wins over Ecuador and Bolivia, and they have scored the most goals in this tournament, 10. Chile also has the highest goal differential of any team with a plus seven. But, as we all know, you just can't sleep on Uruguay. It was a tough task without Luis Suarez, but Uruguay placed third in Group B.

Schedule: Wednesday, June 24. 7:30 p.m. EST. 8:30 p.m. Chile time.

Bolivia (89) vs. Peru (61)

These are two teams that haven't got much recognition, Bolivia ranks No. 89 in the world while Peru is No. 61. These two teams have won a combined three Copa America championships, the last one coming in 1975 when Peru defeated Colombia in the finals. Peru survived the "group of death" with elite company in Brazil and Colombia. Bolivia provided soccer fans with arguably the biggest upset of the tournament when they defeated Ecuador 3-2 in a Group A game.

Schedule: Thursday, June 25. 7:30 p.m. EST. 8:30 p.m. Chile time.

The winner of the Chile vs. Uruguay game will play the winner of the Bolivia vs. Peru game.

Argentina (3) vs. Colombia (4)

This is the big one. Argentina entered this tournament as the favorites to win it all, and their playoff runs starts here. Lionel Messi looks to win his first career Copa America, and lead his nation to their first title since 1993 when they beat Mexico. Colombia placed third in Croup C. This young squad led by Real Madrid superstar James Rodriguez beat Brazil earlier in the tournament. Colombia last won this event in 2001, when they were the host nation. A No. 3 seed vs. a No. 4 seed. It just doesn't get any bigger than this.

Schedule: Friday, June 26. 7:30 p.m. EST. 8:30 p.m. Chile time.

Brazil (5) vs. Paraguay (85)

Looking at this game at a glance, one would think Brazil should roll over Paraguay with ease. However, this may not be a cakewalk for Brazil. Barcelona striker Neymar is out for tournament because if his behavior, and this Paraguay squad tied Argentina (2-2) in their group stage game. Thiago Silva is now the go to guy for Brazil, but Paraguay captain Roque Santa Cruz won't let his team go down easy. Let's also not forget, Paraguay eliminated Brazil in the 2011 Copa America playoff in a brutal 2-0 game.

Schedule: Saturday, June 27. 5:30 p.m. EST. 6:30 p.m. Chile time.

The winner of the Brazil vs. Paraguay game will play the winner of the Argentina vs. Colombia game.
