"American Crime" will have two familiar faces next season.

According to Deadline, Elivs Nolasco and Richard Cabral will be returning for Season 2 of ABC's hit show "American Crime." With those two returning, five of the original cast members from Season 1 will be returning. Timothy Hutton, Regina King and Felicity Huffman are the other three cast members returning.

In an interview with Deadline, executive producer John Ridley talked about what to expect from Nolasco and Cabral in Season 2.

"After playing individuals on the fringes of the law, Season 2 will offer complete role reversals for both Elvis and Richard, Elvis playing a fundamentally good man scapegoated by the system in which he works. Richard as someone who takes it upon himself to stand for the rights of others, even if it means he stands alone," he said. "Elvis and Richard both gave revelatory performances last year, and we are so happy to have them rejoining Felicity, Tim and Regina."

Every season of "American Crime" will focus on a different crime in a different city in the United States, with the cast holdovers from season to season all playing different characters. Screen Fad is reporting Season 2 will take place at an elite prep school in the Midwest.

Season 1 spent much of its time focusing on issues of race and religion. Season 2 will deal with gender, sexual orientation and sexual identity.

Deadline is also reporting that Season 2 will begin shooting in July in Austin, Texas.

The second season of "American Crime" will debut on ABC next season. Season 1 was a huge success as many critics hailed it as a great show. According to Rotten Tomatoes, it was rated a 95 out of 100.

It is not known when the second season will premiere.
