"NBA 2K16" will not come out until late September, but there are already pre-order deals and bonuses that are encouraging buyers to reserve their copy now, according to GottaBeMobile.com.

For starters, players can pre-order the game now online and be able to play it four days earlier than those who do not pre-order the game. That means players can start playing "NBA 2K16" Sept. 25 instead of Sept. 29.

The pre-order also grants players the following special bonuses:

  • 10,000 Virtual Currency (VC)
  • An NBA 2K MyTEAM VIP Pack with 3 MyTEAM Emerald Packs
  • A guaranteed Emerald Player

There is also a special edition that was just announced. The special edition of "NBA 2K16" features Michael Jordan on the cover and comes with some special bonuses as well. The special edition will cost $79.99. Players who buy the special edition will receive the following bonuses:

  • Jordan "NBA 2K16" Poster
  • Jordan Fathead Wall Cling
  • Digital Jordan shoes for the MyPLAYER mode
  • Digital Jordan T-shirt for the MyPLAYER mode
  • Digital Jordan jersey for the MyPLAYER mode
  • 30,000 Virtual Currency
  • MyTEAM VIP+ with 3 Emerald Packs AND a new Special Edition Exclusive Moments Card

A demo is not likely to be released for "NBA 2K16." The last two years, players did not see a demo for NBA 2K games, and there likely will not be one this year either.

Best Buy is offering a pre-order special that will reward players for buying the game early. My Best Buy members will be rewarded with a $10 reward certificate good on a future purchase. Gamers Club Unlocked members will be able to knock 20 percent off the price of "NBA 2K16" and receive the $10 reward certificate.

The first preview of "NBA 2K16" is expected this summer, likely at the Gamescon event in Germany Aug. 6-8.
