''Suits' Season 5 Premiere Plot & Spoilers: Executive Producter Adam Korsh Reveals Plot spoilers
As the fifth season of "Suits" heats up, audiences are excited to see where Donna and Harvey's relationship will go.
In an interview with executive producer Aaron Korsh, the producer gave some hints as to where the relationship was heading and how it would develop throughout the next few episodes.
One of the big questions Korsh answered was why the team decided to give Harvey a therapist. He said, "What's gonna get that guy in therapy? Once we talked about it, he was having a difficult time with Donna leaving and that's the only thing that made sense. A guy like him is only gonna go to therapy if he feels like he has no other choice. We wanted to create a situation like that and to tell the story of being in therapy is a difficult thing to do."
He added that the therapist will be a main character in the season. He said, "He will have more visits with her throughout the season. ... We wanted to stylize his reason of being there and stylize his anxiety."
Korsh also spoke about Donna's dynamic with her new boss Louis and how that would developed throughout the season. "It's going to be rickety. It's a process of dealing with what happened. Donna wants to work for Louis, but Louis also tends to shoot himself in the foot whenever he gets anything going. It's like they're at a very fragile point at all of their relationships. Any little thing can mess up that fragile point," he explained.
"Suits" Season 5 began last week and already obtained a huge following. The new season also opened to positive reviews with some critics raving about the human relationships in the show.
"Suits" stars Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman and Meghan Markle. The show airs every Wednesday evening on USA.
