A&E renewed its hit thriller drama series "Bates Motel" for two more seasons.

According to TVLine, show creators Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse have already started on a 20-episode story line for Seasons 4 and 5. It is not clear if the series would end at the fifth season.

Season 3 left off with Norman Bates totally losing it.

The teenager tried to run off with his so-called high school sweetheart Bradley Martin in the season finale. Just as they were getting away, Norman told Bradley to pull over because his mother wanted to talk to her. Only, his mother Norma wasn't there.

Suddenly, Norman stormed out of the car, pulled Bradley from the passenger seat and dragged her into the woods. The whole time Norman thinks he is seeing his mother doing all of this, and it's really him. The teenage psycho then repeatedly bangs Bradley's head into the ground until she bleeds to death.

At the end Norman closes the car trunk with Bradley in it right before he pushes it into the lake. "I'm sorry mother did this to you," he tells Bradley's corpse.

The whole town already thought that Bradley was dead since she faked her suicide so he might get away with this one. But, with Sheriff Alex Romero on his tail, it's only a matter of time for the truth to come out.

"The vision of our incredible creative team has exposed the steady breakdown of the relationship between Norman and Norma Bates," said Rob Sharenow, executive vice president and general manager of A&E. "We are thrilled to bring fans two more seasons to witness the next stages of Norman's transformation into the most notorious psychopath in cinematic history."

Although showrunners are tight lipped on specific details, the next seasons will focus on Norma doing everything she can to save her son while he deals with his mental disease, Movie News Guide noted.

Meanwhile, Norman's older brother Dylan will continue his love affair with Emma as her body processes her new lung.

"Bates Motel" may return to A&E in 2016.
