A week ago, the Superman vs Batman movie was rumored to have a delay on its production and eventually have its release date moved.

Latest news say that the main cast of the Man of Steel sequel are now being called to start shooting several scenes, Escapist Magazine stated. In addition, Deadline also reports that Ben Affleck, the actor who will portray Batman, has already backed out of directing The Middle Man, a Fox TV drama pilot. This is because of the reason that the characters of the movie sequel are already being "summoned to start work right away."

It is interesting that Yahoo reported the reason behind what possibly triggered the delay rumors of the movie. It could have been because of injury that have reportedly affects the ribs or leg of Affleck. Numerous insiders may have been triggered by this news to suggest that it could place a delay on the production, having it moved by April or May. But when the actor was seen healthy and looking well in the recent awards show that transpired, the first set of rumors started getting debunked.

The Guardian also wrote that another set of rumors is rounding up saying that the Batman vs Superman movie will just be another Justice League film. Hence, many think that if the sequel will start on time, then it will heighten the speculations that a Justice League flick will be shot alongside Batman vs Superman, with the delay made up to render space for the making of the two highly anticipated movies.

The Man of Steel movie sequel is tentatively titled as Batman vs Superman with Henry Cavill reprising the role as Superman and with Affleck as Batman. It will also star Fast and Furious actress Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The flick will be directed by Zack Snyder and is set to be still released on May 6, 2016.
