Pharrell Grammy Awards 2014: Happy Singer's Hat Gets Its Own Twitter Account, Becomes Internet Meme
The 56th Annual Grammy Awards had lots of winner and memorable moments. Fashion always steals the show and this year, Pharrell William's hat did more than that. We present you with the proud Twitter account owner and lost Arby's logo, the brown tall and awkward hat on Pharrell's head.
Famous food chain Arby's took to twitter to humbling ask Pharrell Williams a fair question, "Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back? #GRAMMYs." Musician Pharrell Williams stole the show last night with the tallest hat you have ever seen. Looking very smooth in a red jacket with white stripes down the shoulders, Pharrell decided to top his outfit with a hat that made no sense. But you know what? We appreciate his trendsetting move because that hat has been giving us the best laughs since last night.
Not only was Twitter going crazy, the hat soon had its own Twitter account. The hat turned out to be pretty outspoken and very proud of its Grammy wins. "A band that wears hats, wins #Grammys" was one of Pharrell's Hat tweets agreeing that Daft Punk's and Pharrell's head gear is the secret to success. The hat also tweeted "I keep @Pharrell warm" and tweeted pictures of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift with the caption "what if @katyperry and @taylorswift13 wore pharrell hats?" Even with all the memes since last night, the hat is still funny and fresh, like its owner.
The "Happy" singer's only response so far has been to Arby's, whom he tweeted back to saying, "Y'all tryna star a roast beef? @Arbys." Oh Pharrell, nice try but your hat is funnier. What a night it was for Mr. Williams taking home four Grammys of his own, the awards he won through his collaboration with Daft Punk and a great performance. But out of all of these great wins, the best thing that ever happened to him was that big brown goofy hat.
