Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is looking for a buyer for his Georgia townhouse.

Stafford is asking almost $1.28 million for his estate, Busted Coverage reported. The National Football League (NFL) player, who is entering his seventh season in the league, just got married to his college girlfriend, Kelly Hall. The couple spent their honeymoon in New Zealand and are ready to move on as husband and wife.

Citing property records, the site added that Matthew purchased the house for $932,500 two years ago. The Staffords will then be getting a little over $340,000 once a buyer signs the deal.

Kelly is using the power of social media to hopefully close the sale as soon as possible. On her Instagram account, Mrs. Stafford wrote, "Matthew and I are selling our detached townhouse in Georgia!! It's a beautiful home right in the heart of buckhead! Please contact our realtors Pete and Teri Frye with Keller Williams Realty if you have any interest!"

The 2,985-square-foot home in Atlanta includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The four-level townhouse of the Florida-born football player is described by the listing agents as a "fabulous" home in its neighborhood. It is said to be an "end unit," which has an advantage of allowing future residents to have "extra privacy." The Georgia property even comes with an elevator that services all four levels of the house.

Inside, the Stafford's realtors noted that the next residents will have themselves a recently renovated dwelling place with custom-made updates, lovely dark hardwoods accents, granite countertops, custom-built cabinetry, a spacious butler's pantry and high-end appliances in the gourmet kitchen. A master suite that comes with a walk-in closet is another highlight of the home. The abode also features an open dining room, a breakfast room, a great room, and a terrace.

Outdoors, a courtyard with a grilling station can be found, perfect for family gatherings and parties.

The quarterback sporting the number "9" Lions' jersey is currently ranked by MMQB's Andy Benoit as the 13th best quarterback in the league. Stafford is depicted by the site as an "owner of the best raw arm in the game" and that he is ranked high because "he became more disciplined last season."

With three more years to go with the Lions, as noted on Spotrac.com, he has the chance to deliver more to further improve on his performance.
