Now if he can only make an NFL regular season roster.

As it is, Tim Tebow's jersey rated as the NFL's No. 16 best seller during the month of June, ahead of such NFL heavyweights as Marshawn Lynch, Tony Romo and Ndamukong Suh. Not even cracking the Top 25 were such stalwarts as Drew Brees, Richard Sherman, LeSean McCoy and Calvin Johnson.

According to the Washington Post, Tebow last played in a NFL game in 2012 and is by no means a sure bet to make the Philadelphia Eagles this season after signing as a free agent over the summer.

The 2007 University of Florida Heisman Trophy winner is competing for a backup quarterback spot among a field that includes Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne. Although he came into the team's recent mini camp claiming to have worked out his much criticized throwing mechanics, Tebow reportedly still struggled with his accuracy.

In all, the soon-to-be 28-year-old Tebow has played three NFL seasons, his last in 2012 with the New York Jets. His best NFL season came with the Denver Bronco in 2011, when he passed for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns. Cumulatively, Tebow finished the season with 2,389 yards and 18 touchdowns, also rushing for 660 yards and another six scores.

Tebow, who has also played for the New England Patriots, was selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Broncos in 2010. While at Florida, he played on BCS national championship winning teams in 2006 and 2008.

Rounding out the Top 5 in NFL jersey sales are the New York Giants' Odell Beckham Jr., Tennessee Titans' Marcus Mariota, New England Patriots' Tom Brady, San Francisco 49ers' Colin Kaepernick and Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers.
