Kristin Cavallari posted an Instagram picture on Friday, July 10 to reveal that she is pregnant with a daughter.

The photo shows her embracing husband Jay Cutler and holding a pink pair of baby Converse sneakers in her hand. "The boys are so excited to have a little sister on the way!!!" she captioned the picture.

The former MTV star announced that she was pregnant with her third child in May via her app, Kristin Cavallari Official.

"Big News," the "Balancing in Heels" author, 28, captioned a photo of her making a heart shape with her hands in front of her stomach, "We're at it again! Thrilled to announce baby number 3 is on the way! The cutler crew just keeps on growin'!"

Cavallari and her Chicago Bears quarterback husband are the proud parents to sons Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 14 months.

"Camden is a really good big brother," she told Us Weekly in May. "He's very protective and very sweet, but he also gets a little upset when Jax tries to take his toys and messes with his stuff. He gets a little territorial with some stuff, so it's kind of funny."

The pregnancy announcement is the second time this week the shoe designer has made headlines. On Wednesday, the "Hills" alum received sharp criticism for a hair accessory that she touted in an Instagram picture.

In the snapshot, Cavallari is dressed in a red dress, fringed brown-red suede boots and new fake bangs.

"Wanted to change up my look today with bangs! They are attached to a headband to make it super easy," she wrote while showing off her odd hair accessory.

While many of her Instagram followers posted positive comments about the hairpiece, there were also quite a few jeers.

"This is probably the tackiest 'beauty accessory' I've seen in 10 years. Embarrassing! Take this DOWN! Don't care what they're paying you!" a follower commented.
