Caitlyn Jenner Photos, Twitter & News: Caitlyn Supplies Brooklyn With Condoms
Caitlyn Jenner recently attended NYC's pride weekend a few weeks ago and volunteered to help the TransLatina coalition in Brooklyn, TMZ reports.
Though many fans flocked to Jenner's side to take selfies with her, she politely declined and kept to her task of passing out condoms and flyers during the TransLatina coalition event addressing ways to prevent HIV.
TMZ suggests that Jenner's trip to Brooklyn will be documented in her upcoming series "I Am Cait" which will premiere on E! later this month.
Following her transition to female, Jenner debuted her transformation photos via Vanity Fair last month and broke the Twitter record for gaining 1 million followers in just four hours.
Jenner's family members and friends have all shown support for her online, but E! News sources claim that the family is adjusting to Caitlyn's transformation at home.
The source claims that the family still calls Caitlyn "dad" and they are all still getting used to calling her Caitlyn.
"It's been a transition and adjustment for everyone and each kid is getting used to the new name in his/her own way," the source revealed. "[The name] Bruce is definitely no longer being used and Caitlyn is being cool about letting her kids say whatever is comfortable."
Jenner will continue to document his new experience as a woman on a new E! docu-series. Jenner's E! documentary "I am Cait" will be an eight part series that will premiere on July 26 at 9 p.m. EST.
Jeff Olde, the VP of E! programming and development, commented on the series and Jenner's courageous announcement. Olde described Jenner as "incredibly courageous and an inspiration" and said that E! is in full support of his decision and proud of him.
"This series will present an unfiltered look as Bruce boldly steps into uncharted territory and is true to himself for the first time," Olde said.
