Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested by Florida police on Sunday over a battery charge that allegedly involved a minor.

Details of the arrest were shown by NFL insider Ian Rapoport via his post of the coach's jail records on Twitter. The records revealed that the coach, who also served as Chicago Bears' coordinator, was apprehended on Jul. 12, 2015, at 1:39 a.m. and booked at the Walton County Jail at 1:51 a.m. The coach only stayed for over one hour as he was discharged on bond at 3:10 a.m that same day, as seen on the records.

The incident among the 48-year-old NFL coach, his son and three boys happened at Inlet Beach in Florida, NFL.com reported, citing statements released from Walton County Sheriff's Office. One of the boys described as a minor, who happens to be the son of one of Kromer's neighbors, was allegedly punched in the face by the offensive line coach after they had a confrontation over beach chairs.

Moreover, the report stated that the coach allegedly "threatened to kill the victim's family if he reported him to the police."

The news has reached the Bills, ESPN reported, and the team is currently looking into the situation. "We are aware of the report and in the process of gathering the facts," Bills senior vice president of senior communications Scott Berchtold said in a statement given on Sunday morning.

With the rise of recent troubles that happen concerning NFL players and staff outside the game, the spotlight will be focused on the Buffalo team this time, especially on how they will investigate the offensive mentor's recent arrest, commented NFL.com.

It is not the first time that Kromer has found himself in the center of controversy. In December last year, he made a "tearful apology" after criticizing Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. Kromer reportedly told Rapoport that the Bears were having a "serious case of buyer's remorse."
