“Wolverine,” which happens to be the last Wolverine film that Hugh Jackman will star in, will be out in 2017. Before FOX’s announcement during the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con International, however, fans had absolutely no idea what the upcoming Marvel blockbuster will be called.

“This next time is going to be my last time for putting on the claws,” Jackman told the Comic-Con crowd, according to Cinema Blend. “One last time. And, in this movie that we are going to make, it is going to be directed by Jim Mangold – the great Jim Mangold. I can tell you, the people who are in this room, the fans, in this room, it is going to be the best one yet for you guys.”

'Old Man Logan' in 'Wolverine'

As announced during FOX’s Hall H panel, the film will simply be called “Wolverine.” With regards to what the film is going to be about, though, Jackman may have revealed its storyline.

“I have got three words for you guys: ‘Old Man Logan,’” he said. “Take from that what you will.”

According to Screenrant, Jackman may have only been describing his actual age, especially since he had started to wear those claws from his very first “X-Men” audition tape 16 years ago. However, he may have also revealed, in his own relatively discreet manner, that his last “Wolverine” installment was going to be about the “Old Man Logan” comic book source material.

In the "Old Man Logan" story arc, which was written by Mark Millar, with illustration created by Steve McNiven, Wolverine was duped into killing the other members of the X-Men, and as a result, he refused to fight again, noted Screenrant. That said, since no world-saving X-Men continued to exist – except for Wolverine – multiple villains started to wreak their own versions of havoc.

Actress Jackman is 'not allowed to work with'

Jackman may already be 46 years, but his gorgeous wife, Deborra-Lee Furness – whom he has been married to for 20 years – has one rule. In jest, she said that her husband is not allowed to star opposite “Maleficent” actress, Angelina Jolie.

“I have told his agent he is not allowed to work with Angelina,” Furness said when she and Jackman appeared on “Today” last week. “I am sure she is lovely.”

“Deb and I have been married for 20 years,” Jackman replied. “We have a lot of rules. As long as she does not work with Brad Pitt, we are cool.”
