More information about Samsung's next phablet is surfacing, and it looks like it will be a feature-packed smartphone, according to Digital Trends.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the company's next large-screened phone coming out later this year. Usually the Galaxy Note series of phones are announced in September, but there is already plenty of information available on the device.

Samsung is thinking about using an all-in-one processor. This would be their own Exynos 7422, and it would combine the CPU, the GPU, RAM, storage and modem in one chip.

The Note 5 would also have 4 GB of RAM, offering it generous multitasking capabilities and allowing apps to run smoothly. SamMobile, which follows Samsung devices, reported its inside sources have confirmed the Exynos 7422 processor and the 4GB of RAM. SamMobile has been correct in the past with these types of rumors.

Samsung usually launches the Galaxy Note series at the IFA in Berlin in September, but Samsung may decide to speed up the release (to August) of the Galaxy Note 5 to beat Apple's expected launch of a new iPhone, the Wall Street Journal reported. Samsung would then launch the device at a major U.S. city in August.

A feature that could make it to the Galaxy Note 5 is the automatically ejecting stylus. This means that instead of manually pulling the stylus out of the phone, owners could use their voice or a hand gesture to make the stylus rise out of the phone automatically.

Samsung's last major phone release was the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S6 used a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, also referred to as a 2K screen. The Galaxy Note 5 could use that same 2K display, SamMobile reports, but Samsung could also choose to upgrade to a 4K display. If they use a 4K display, they would be the first smartphone to have it. The size of the screen is expected to be the same as the Galaxy Note 4, measuring in at 5.7 inches.
