While ex-boyfriend JB is busy dealing with authorities and investigators, Selena Gomez is allegedly busy dating, says Us Weekly.

Us Weekly quotes an unnamed source who reportedly confirms that Selena Gomez is back on the dating scene, thanks to her BFF, Taylor Swift. The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' sing ensured that Gomez will indeed never get back with JB by setting her up with no other than 17-year old Austin Mahone.

"They're seeing each other," a source tells Us Weekly.

The report goes on to say that the two are working on keeping things "quiet" as of now. In fact, Gomez and Mahone reportedly left the Beats Music concert on the same car January 24 though Us Weekly's source notes that the alleged couple "sneaked out separately."

On the other hand, Gossip Cop claims that Us Weekly is simply adding on another layer to its pile of fabricated stories and that another unnamed source "close to the situation" tells them that Gomez and Mahone are not dating.

Dating or not, Gomez has since spilled the beans on her concept of an ideal boyfriend. Quoting an interview with Seventeen Magazine, Us Weekly recalls that Gomez' ideal lover is one who is not easily intimidated.

"I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it. It's hard. I do think I might scare some guys, because I'm like, 'I want to change the world! I have dreams! What do you want to do?' But I only know how to be me," Gomez said in the Us Weekly report.

Would Austin Mahone be a likely candidate for Gomez? Only the 'Come and Get It' star can answer but Austin's fans are sure to respond 'Mmm Yeah.'
